IP20 Bathroom Ceiling Lights
IP20 ceiling lights have no water protection, so they are not suitable in Zones 0, 1 or 2. Elsewhere in the bathroom, BS 7671 sets no minimum IP rating, so an IP20 ceiling light is permitted where the fitting is more than 60cm beyond the bath or shower area, such as the centre of a larger bathroom.
In a small bathroom, or one with poor ventilation, IP44 gives extra margin against steam, so consider our IP44 range. In a good-sized, well-ventilated bathroom, IP20 gives you more styles to choose from.
