Handmade in our ceramic studio and inspired by the Kauri tree, the Kauri flush ceramic ceiling light is a unique addition to any room. The Kauri tree has smooth bark and small narrow leaves which are mirrored in the cracked engravings of this ceramic ceiling light. The dome shape reflects the imposing crown that forms at the top of the Kauri tree. Kauri forests are amongst the most ancient in the world and the techniques used to make this ceiling light date back many centuries. With a Red Iron colour finish, this ceramic ceiling light disburses a soft blend of red, earthy tones. The combination of light and dark shades creates an ombre effect, which accentuates the distinct crackle effect on the ceramic shade. The Kauri flush ceiling light is attached to a brass lamp holder that brings a modern flair to this light fixture that is full of character. To complement other furnishings, the lamp holder comes in six alternative colours: antique brass, antique silver, polished brass, satin brass, polished copper and matte black. Measuring 20cm in diameter, this ceramic dome ceiling light offers a rustic, vintage twist to home and commercial interiors. Its design can be appreciated in both modern and more traditional settings. Bulb is sold separately. Please note that our ceramic lights are handmade in our studio in Mullan Village. As such, the exact size, colour, and texture of each piece may vary.
Mullan Delivery & Finishes
Delivery: All Mullan Lights are assembled to order and finished as requested.
Brass & Glass Lights will take 15 - 21 working days, however the factory will try and complete orders a little sooner where possible, but all orders are dealt with in strict rotation.
Ceramics each piece is handcrafted at the time of the order, so these can take 4-5 weeks depending on complexity. Again they will be supplied as quickly as possible.
Mullan Brass Light Finishes & Colours
Each light is shown with its finish options, however we can often have lights finishedĀ in a powder coat finished in one of the colours or the Chrome finish, however there maybe a charge for this and delivery will be extended by several weeks.
All brass fittings are lacquered with exception of the 'Natural Brass'.Ā We can request they are unlacquered if you prefer.
Mullan's products are hand finished therefore each item is unique. The colours shown below are intended as an indication only and some variation is to be expected - see Below.
Many of the brass lights can also be finished in a powder coated colour finish, see below.
