Pyrus Ceramic Black Clay 28 cm Pendant Light

The Pyrus pendant is inspired by the pretty Asian pear tree species as its flowers hosts a similar conical shape to that of the ceramic pendant shade of this design. The Pyrus’ ceramic shade has a diameter of 28cm and allows the bulb to be exposed underneath. The rawness of the bare bulb gives the pendant an element of charm, tying it back to basic necessities. On the inside of the shade a distressed, worn crackled effect can be appreciated and majestically glistens with the soft projection of light from the exposed bulb. This vintage pendant includes a matching brass ceiling rose with decorative cable securing it to a brass lamp holder using a cord grip. Adapting to a variety of interiors, the brass lamp holder is available in five colour finishes; antique brass, antique silver, polished brass, satin brass and polished copper. The Pyrus ceramic pendant light incorporates clean lines while embracing the heritage of its design influences. Complete with a rough, textured surface, the ceramic pendant shade beautifully represents the tailored craftsmanship used to create this organic design. The Black Clay colour finish resembles a sooty coal pigment, perfect for creating moodier interiors. The Pyrus ceramic pendant will look at home in both vintage and contemporary spaces.
