Description
The Atena Black is the most dramatic version of the Atena ā the same carefully considered form with sandblasted glass diffuser and open top, now in a matte black ceramic finish that makes it feel like an object as much as a light fitting.
The contrast between the black ceramic body and the light it emits is particularly striking: warm light washing up from the open top against a dark ceiling, and a softened downward glow through the sandblasted glass. In a darker room or against a deep-coloured wall, the effect is genuinely beautiful.
Sandblasted glass diffuser
The Atena’s defining feature ā the frosted glass base softens and diffuses the downward light, while the open ceramic top allows warm light to wash freely upward. High-fired Polish ceramic with a smooth matte black glaze.
E27 fitting
Accepts any standard E27 bulb (not included). A warm filament-style LED works particularly well with the black finish, enhancing the atmospheric quality.
