The Kalu is a ceramic ceiling light — or close-fitting wall-mount — made from high-fired ceramic in Chodzież, Poland. Its geometric form has a clean, structured quality that works well in spaces where you want a fitting that feels designed rather than simply functional: a living room, a well-considered hallway, a kitchen where the lighting is part of the room’s character.
The GU10 or ES111 bulb fitting means the light is directional — useful for accent lighting, for picking out textures and surfaces, or for providing a focused pool of light in a specific area. The ceramic body has the tactile, crafted quality that distinguishes Polish ceramic from cheaper materials, and it’s straightforward to wipe clean.
