Kitchen Brass Wall Lights

Brass wall lights have a long history in kitchens — the material is durable, ages well, and gives warm reflected light that painted metal doesn’t. The fittings here are all handmade in Ireland by Mullan Lighting, finished to order in a choice of brass and powder-coated options, and built to last rather than to be replaced.

The range covers several distinct types. Swan neck and gooseneck lights — the Paris and Telal — have a long curved arm that reaches out from the wall before turning down to the shade, making them practical above a worktop or sink where a flat-bracket fitting wouldn’t reach far enough. Adjustable arm lights — the Rio, Baku, San Jose, Mesa — have articulated or swing arms that let you redirect the light after fitting, useful wherever your needs change or a fixed position won’t work. Fixed industrial lights — the Paris, Telal, Geneva — are simpler wall brackets with dome or factory shades, more suited to a set position where the light doesn’t need to move. Cage lights — the Boyd, Rigo, Apoch — use wire cages around an exposed E27 bulb, where the fitting and the bulb work together as the visual statement.

Most fittings use an E27 bulb (not included) — a standard screw fitting compatible with LED options including filament styles. The Evanston spotlight uses GU10.

All Mullan lights are assembled to order in Ireland. Brass and glass finishes take 15–21 working days. Worth the wait.
